DraftKit payment
and refunds.

1. What this policy covers

This policy applies to every DraftKit order. DraftKit is a document preparation service: you pay when you order, and we prepare a document for you to review, sign and send yourself.

It does not apply to Bima Samadhan, our case-handling service, which has its own terms.

2. Prices

• The price of each DraftKit document is shown on our DraftKit page and on the order form before you pay.
• All prices include GST.
• One order is one document. A further document is a new order.
• We may change our prices at any time. A change does not affect an order that has already been paid for.

3. Discounts and offers

• We may offer discounts, introductory prices or other offers from time to time.
• Any offer may be changed or withdrawn at any time without notice.
• An offer applies only to orders paid for while it is shown on the order form. It cannot be claimed afterwards, applied to an earlier order, combined with another offer, or exchanged for cash.
• Where an order was placed at a discounted price, any refund is calculated on the amount actually paid.

4. Payment

• Payment is made in full, in advance, when you place your order on the order form.
• Payments are taken through a third-party payment gateway. We do not see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
• Your order is confirmed only once the payment has gone through. If a payment fails, no order is created. Any amount debited by your bank for a failed payment is returned by the bank or gateway under their own rules.
• A GST tax invoice is emailed to you once payment is received. It serves as your proof of payment.

5. When drafting starts, and delivery

• Drafting starts once we have your payment and all the information and documents needed to prepare your document.
• The delivery time for each document is stated on our DraftKit page and the order form before you pay. For a Letter Kit letter, it is 48 working hours.
• Working hours are Monday to Friday, 10 am to 6 pm (India time), excluding public holidays listed on our website.
• If something essential is missing, the delivery time pauses until you provide it.
• If we cannot meet the stated delivery time, we will tell you. You may then choose to wait or to ask for a refund under section 6.

6. Refunds

After your draft has been sent to you

• Once your draft has been prepared and sent to you for review, the fee is not refundable. The work has been done by then.

Before your draft has been sent to you

• You cancel: if you ask us to cancel before your draft has been sent, we refund the fee less a 10% deduction for administrative and payment costs.
• Information not provided: if we ask you for information or documents needed to prepare your document and you do not provide them, or do not respond, within a reasonable time, we may close the order and refund 50% of the fee, at our discretion, even without a request from you.

Full refund

• We decline your order: for example, because the matter is outside what DraftKit covers, or is already before a court or forum.
• We cannot deliver: because of a technical or legal constraint.
• Duplicate payment: you were charged twice for the same order by mistake. The extra payment is refunded in full.

All refund requests are reviewed by us before approval.

7. How refunds are made

• To ask for a refund, write to care@samadhansarathi.in. Include your order number and the reason for your request.
• An approved refund is processed within 7 working days. It is returned to the same payment method used for the order. We cannot refund to a different account or in cash.
• Your bank, card issuer or payment app may take a few extra days to show the amount in your account.
• A credit note is issued against your tax invoice for every refund.

8. Things we cannot refund

• Charges made by your own bank or card issuer, such as currency conversion or card fees.
• Any fee you pay to a third party, such as postage or courier charges for sending your letter.

9. What DraftKit is, and is not

• DraftKit is a document preparation service. You receive a prepared document to review, approve, sign and send yourself.
• It does not include representation, follow-up with the insurer, bank or provider, or tracking of replies and deadlines.
• We are not a law firm and do not give legal advice. No outcome is guaranteed. A refund cannot be claimed because of the response or decision of the insurer, bank, provider or any forum.

10. Chargebacks and disputes

If you have a concern about a payment, please write to us first at care@samadhansarathi.in so that we can resolve it quickly. If you raise a chargeback or payment dispute for an order that has been delivered as described, we will share the order record with your bank or the payment gateway.

11. Complaints

If you are unhappy with a DraftKit order or payment, write to care@samadhansarathi.in. We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 30 days.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. An order is governed by the policy in force on the day it was paid for.

13. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of India. Before starting any proceedings, you agree to raise the matter with us in writing at care@samadhansarathi.in and to allow us 30 days to respond and try to resolve it. Subject to that, the courts at Ludhiana, Punjab have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with this policy.

14. Who we are

DraftKit is offered by:
