DraftKit
service terms.
These terms apply when you order a document from DraftKit, our document service. Please read them with our DraftKit Payment and Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy. Bima Samadhan case handling is covered separately.
1. What these terms cover
These terms apply to every DraftKit order. DraftKit is a document preparation service: we prepare a document for you, and you review it, sign it and send it yourself.
At present DraftKit offers the Letter Kit. When we add other kits, their details will be added to these terms before they are offered.
By ticking "I agree" on the order form and paying, you accept these terms. The terms in force on the day you place your order apply to that order.
2. What you get with the Letter Kit
- One document per order. This is either a grievance letter to an insurer, bank or other financial provider, or an escalation letter to its grievance or nodal officer.
- The letter is prepared from the details and documents you give us. It refers to the relevant policy terms and regulatory provisions where they apply.
- Every letter is checked by our team before it is sent to you.
- A short filing guide explains where to send the letter, what to attach, and when the next step becomes available.
- One free revision round before you approve the letter (see section 6).
A second document, such as a later escalation, is a new order.
3. Price and payment
- The price of each document is shown on our DraftKit page and on the order form before you pay. Prices include GST.
- Discounts and offers. We may offer discounts, introductory prices or other offers from time to time. Any offer may be changed or withdrawn at any time without notice. An offer applies only to orders paid for while it is shown on the order form. It cannot be claimed afterwards, combined with another offer, or exchanged for cash.
- You pay in full when you order, through a third-party payment gateway. We do not see or store your card or bank details.
- A GST tax invoice is emailed to you once payment is received.
Payment, cancellations and refunds are covered by our DraftKit Payment and Refund Policy.
4. How we prepare your document
- We use AI-assisted tools to read your documents and any voice note, to prepare a summary of your case, and to prepare a first draft.
- Every document is checked by our team before it reaches you. No document is sent to you without that check.
- We rely on the information and documents you give us. Where a document we need is not available, such as your policy terms, we may prepare the letter on the basis of the information we have and the applicable regulations. We will say so when we send it to you.
5. Delivery time
- We send your draft within 48 working hours.
- Working hours are Monday to Friday, 10 am to 6 pm (India time), excluding the public holidays listed on our website.
- The 48 working hours begin when we have both your payment and all the information and documents needed to prepare the letter.
- If something essential is missing, we write to you once, listing exactly what we need. The clock pauses until you send it. You can send it by reply or through your order tracking page.
- If you do not reply, we may prepare the letter on the information we already have, noting what was missing. If the letter cannot be prepared without it, we may close the order under our DraftKit Payment and Refund Policy.
6. Your review, one revision, and approval
- We send you the draft as a protected PDF marked "DRAFT".
- Within 48 working hours, either approve it or tell us what you would like changed. You can reply by email or through your tracking page.
- One revision round is free. Tell us all the changes you want in one message, and we will send a revised draft.
- If we do not hear from you within 48 working hours of sending a draft, the draft is treated as approved.
- Once a draft is approved, we send the final PDF and the filing guide. That completes the order.
- These are not revisions, and need a new order: changes after approval, a second revision round, new facts that change the case, or a different type of document.
7. Document protection
All documents are supplied as protected PDF files. Drafts carry a "DRAFT" watermark and cannot be printed, edited or copied. The final document can be printed but not edited or copied.
Any alteration made to a document after delivery is made at your own risk, and we are not responsible for the altered content.
8. You send it yourself
- You sign the letter and send it to the insurer, bank or provider yourself, following the filing guide.
- DraftKit does not include sending or filing on your behalf, representation, follow-up with the insurer or bank, or tracking of replies and deadlines. Those form part of our Bima Samadhan service.
- Keeping to any time limits for complaints and escalations is your responsibility.
9. Your information and documents
- You confirm that the information you give us is accurate and complete, that you are entitled to share every document you send, and that you have the authority of anyone else a document concerns.
- Your consent. You agree that we may use your details, documents and voice note to prepare your document. This may include health, medical or financial records.
- Service providers. To prepare your document, your information is processed by the service providers we use to run DraftKit. These include our form, payment, storage and customer-record systems, and the AI service providers that support our drafting. They process it only to provide the service to us.
- We do not sell your information. We do not use it for any purpose other than your order and our legal obligations.
- How long we keep it. We keep your documents and the prepared letter for 12 months after delivery, so that you can ask for a copy and we can answer any query. We then delete them, except where a law requires us to keep something longer. You can ask us to delete them earlier by writing to care@samadhansarathi.in.
- More details are in our Privacy Policy.
10. What DraftKit is not
- We are not a law firm, and we do not give legal advice. DraftKit prepares a letter based on what you tell us.
- No outcome is guaranteed. The decision on your complaint rests with the insurer, bank or provider, and with any forum you approach.
- We are not responsible for:
- information or documents that are incomplete, inaccurate, out of date or withheld;
- any delay caused by missing information.
11. Orders we cannot take
We may decline an order before drafting begins. This includes orders where:
- the matter is outside what DraftKit covers;
- the matter is already before a court, commission or other forum;
- the information appears false or misleading;
- the request is abusive or unlawful.
If we decline an order, we tell you promptly and refund it in full, as set out in our DraftKit Payment and Refund Policy.
12. Tracking your order
You can check the status of your order on our tracking page. You will need your order number and a one-time code sent to the email address you used to order. You can use the tracking page to send missing documents, view your draft and download your final document. The final document stays available for download for 30 days after delivery.
13. Limit of our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the fee you paid for that order. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including the outcome of your complaint.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. An order is governed by the terms in force on the day it was placed.
15. Complaints, governing law, and who we are
- Complaints: if you are unhappy with a DraftKit order, write to care@samadhansarathi.in. We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 30 days.
- Governing law: these terms are governed by the laws of India. Before starting any proceedings, you agree to raise the matter with us in writing at care@samadhansarathi.in and to allow us 30 days to respond and try to resolve it. Subject to that, the courts at Ludhiana, Punjab have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms.
